DIY Recycled Seed Pots from Newspapers and Magazines

Are you one of those people who have a lot of old magazines in your home somewhere? In case you also are into growing stuff like herbs, garden vegetables or home plants, you might want to get free seed pots.

To make such seed pots you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Glass
  • Soil
  • Newspapers or magazines

Here is how to do them:

  • Cut newspapers into strips that are long enough to fold over the glass (you can use folded newspaper pages to get more strong pots).
  • Fold the paper around the glass and make sure there aren’t any gasps.
  • Push the bottom of the glass to any firm surface to secure the base.
  • Fill the pot with soil and plant one of your seeds there.

You aslo can buy a paper potter in a garden center to make the process even more easy. That’s all folks, enjoy!
By the way, you won’t need to transfer a small plant from such pots. You just need to put the whole pot into the ground or a bigger pot.
